Casa Hogar Orphanage

Photographs By Dan Figueroa

Fifty-two children live at the Casa Hogar orphanage; and Casa Hogar is at full capacity. The majority of the children have been abandoned by their parents who have gone to work in the United States. They have literally left them behind. It is unknown whether or not they will come back from them. Many children have  been picked up from abuse shelters as well...

Located in Canon Buena Vista a small village made up of mostly migrant workers who come to the area to work in the agriculture sector. It is about 45minutes from Ensendad, Mexico.

Casa Hogar has children as old as 15. As more orphans come in to Casa Hogar, the older ones have few places to go. Casa Hogar needs help.

Casa Hogar is an independent organization that depends on direct donations from individuals or organizations. At the moment they do not have a permanent partnership with any other organizations.

The best way to help Casa Hogar is through direct donations.
